Ikelite Releases Canon EOS R10 Kits

200DLM/D Underwater Housing for Canon EOS R10 with 18-45mm Lens Deluxe Version Complete Kit

Canon’s first mirrorless cameras with APS-C sensors, announced in 2022, were the EOS R7 and R10. Bundled with the RF-S 18–45mm f/4.5–6.3 IS STM lens for $1,100, the R10 is an excellent all-around package offering great value for money. You get 24 megapixels, Dual Pixel AF, 15fps burst shooting with the mechanical shutter, and 4K/30p oversampled uncropped video.

Now Ikelite has made it even easier to jump in the water with this camera/lens combo and start shooting. Their new housing kit includes everything you need: 200DLM/D housing; dome port, zoom gear, and anti-reflection ring for the RF-S 18–45mm f/4.5–6.3; Dual Tray with Dual Handles; Trigger Extensions; Vacuum System; and a set of spare O-rings. The only thing you need to add is the camera and lens themselves. (Incidentally, Ikelite also sells a full version of the kit that actually includes the camera and lens.)

The housing kit set up for the Canon EOS R10 with RF-S 18–45mm lens is priced at $1,795, while the housing kit including the Canon EOS R10 and RF-S 18–45mm lens costs $2,895.

Ikelite Launches Two More OM System TG-7 Housing and Ecko Strobe Kits

Underwater Housing for OM System Tough TG-7, TG-6 and Ecko Strobes Wide Angle Kit

After launching of its Ecko Fiber and Ecko DS strobes, Ikelite released, in June, two kits bundling the fiber-optically triggered model with the OM System Tough TG-7 camera, housing, and various accessories—one bundling a single strobe and another bunding a pair of strobes.

The kits are perfect for shooters starting out with nothing, since the camera itself is included, but for owners of the OM System TG-7 or the Olympus TG-5 or Olympus TG-6 (all of which have the same basic functionality), Ikelite has introduced two new kits that bundle the Ecko Fiber with just housing and accessories.

The first kit, the “Wide Angle Kit” (above), comprises the housing with six-inch dome port, tray with dual handles, two Ecko Fiber strobes, strobe arms, and fiber-optic cords. The camera is not included and neither is the Olympus FCON-T02 fisheye lens for which this setup is specifically designed. Note that you’ll still get the benefits of the dome port even without the fisheye lens, but it’s highly recommended for a proper wide-angle perspective.

The second kit, the “Deluxe Kit” (below), comprises housing, tray with single handle, single Ecko Fiber strobe, strobe arm, and fiber-optic cord. The camera itself isn’t included. With this housing, you still have the option of adding the FCON-T02 lens and dome port later—and, of course, a second strobe if you want.

Available from Ikelite, the new “Wide Angle Kit” is retailing for $2,020, while the new “Deluxe Kit” costs $1,145.

Ikelite Releases OM System TG-7 Housing and Ecko Strobe Kits

Underwater Housing, OM System Tough TG-7 Camera and Ecko Strobes Wide Angle Kit

Following the launch of its Ecko DS and Ecko Fiber strobes, Ikelite has launched two new kits bundling the fiber-optically triggered model. The kits combine the OM System Tough TG-7 camera, housing, one or two strobes, and various accessories.

The “Wide Angle Kit” (see above) comprises the camera, housing with dome port, Olympus FCON-T02 fisheye lens, tray with dual handles, two Ecko Fiber strobes, strobe arms, and fiber-optic cords—everything you need to shoot a large variety of subjects, from macro to wide angle. The six-inch dome even makes it possible to shoot splits.

The “Deluxe Kit” (see below) consists of the camera, housing, tray with single handle, Ecko Fiber strobe, strobe arm, and fiber-optic cord. With this housing, Ikelite gives you the option of adding the FCON-T02 lens and dome port later—and, of course, a second strobe if desired.

Available from Ikelite, the “Wide Angle Kit” currently retails for $2,825, while the “Deluxe Kit” costs $1,645—the former giving you a $160 discount, the latter saving you almost $90. Similar—but more expensive—kits bundling Ikelite’s DS51 II strobe are no longer available, as the DS51 II has been discontinued. The DS160 II and DS162 have also been discontinued—replaced by the new DS165 and RC165.
